Unfortunately, not a good experience as a rental applicant. I applied for an advertised apartment on 03.08. and inquired about the current status for the first time on 10.08. After not receiving any feedback, I called to ask on 17.08. I was informed that the apartment had been promised to another interested party and that their feedback was expected by 19.08. Since I did not hear anything afterwards and the listing was still online, I inquired again via email on 24.08. I also received no response to this message. It was only after I inquired again on 31.08. that I was informed that the rental agreement had already been concluded with another interested party the previous week. That an apartment is awarded to another applicant is, of course, understandable and not the point of criticism at all. However, I found the communication disappointing. Especially after several inquiries, I would have expected a brief response regarding the allocation that had taken place. It's a shame, because with a brief and transparent communication towards the other interested parties, my experience with the management would have been significantly better.
