Very disappointing experience with PREFERA. We already live in the same building and applied for an apartment on a lower floor due to my health situation, as I will be undergoing surgeries on both legs in the future. We submitted all documents on the same day and viewed the apartment. By the next day, the apartment was no longer online. When I personally inquired about the next steps, Ms. Martina Disch responded to me very unpleasantly and unprofessionally. She said she had just returned from vacation and had a lot of work. She assured us that we would be contacted, regardless of whether we got the apartment or not. Nevertheless, no one reached out to us. Only when I inquired again in person was I informed that the apartment had already been assigned to another person who "better fits their position." I find it incomprehensible why I, as an existing tenant in the same building and with a specific health reason for an apartment on a lower floor, was not considered. Unfortunately, my cousins also had a similar experience with PREFERA. They received a viewing appointment and took a day off for it. Afterwards, they were informed that the apartment had already been assigned. Overall, a very disappointing experience and for me, a non-transparent handling of rental applicants.
