Where the foothills of the pre-Alps reach the shores of Lake Constance, a castle majestically sits on a mountain spur above a picturesque landscape. From >>Collection Nobilis Estate No. 4<< you can enjoy a breathtaking view over the Swiss shore of Lake Constance and the wide, glittering expanse of the Upper Lake. Sheltered by the surrounding walls, an outdoor pool invites you to relax on the sunny slope.
Rudolf I of Sulzberg, originally from the Allgäu region, began construction of the mighty keep around 1230. At the end of the 14th century, a palace was added – the foundation for today's residential wing. In 1474, the castle was acquired by the Mötteli merchant family from Ravensburg and converted into a residential castle. From 1578 to 1857, the property was owned by the Salis noble family from Graubünden.
Collection Nobilis Estate No. 4<< houses six residential units, one of them in a separate servant's house. Apart from its use as a spacious residential and family residence, the castle is also perfectly suited as a company headquarters. Due to space constraints, only the approx. 600 m2 master apartment of the chatelaine/chatelain can be described here.
