**Aesch is a lively municipality in the Arlesheim district of the canton of Basel-Landschaft. It is located about 10 kilometers south of the city of Basel and has about 10,500 inhabitants. Thanks to its location at the foot of the Jura and near the Leimental valley, Aesch attractively combines rural idyll with urban proximity.
The municipality has good transport links: Tram line 11 and motorway A18 connect Aesch directly to Basel city center.
Family-friendliness, good schools, diverse leisure activities and proximity to nature make Aesch an attractive place to live and work.

**The detached house at Herrenweg 5 in 4147 Aesch is part of a development with 12 atrium houses from 1973. Herrenweg is a little-used residential street but with ideal access to the main road as a connecting road to Reinach. The connection to the public transport network is equally ideal, with a tram stop (No. 11) right on the doorstep. The surrounding area is characterized above all by detached houses and smaller multi-family houses.

**The 5.5-room atrium house was still inhabited until recently and is in good structural condition. In 1997, the outer shell was comprehensively renovated with the installation of new windows, new blinds and the refurbishment of the concrete facade parts.
