House with history, view and space for realization
The Property
The property includes the residential house with its own private road, forecourt, and a carport on the street with space for two vehicles. A footpath leads from there up to the house. The property also includes a garden and its own spring. The property is nestled in a nature-friendly, largely original garden. The house extends over four floors – basement, ground floor, upper floor, and attic – with each floor having its own access to the outdoor area.
The hillside location allows for an unobstructed view towards Wynigen up to the Jura and gives the historic building a special spatial structure. The upper floor and the gallery floor are internally connected by a staircase and together form a closed living unit. The attic contains a separate studio, which is accessible both internally via the gallery and externally via the rear garden.
The architectural design of the house allows for a clear functional separation of the individual areas and diverse usage options. The property is suitable for different living and lifestyle forms – for individuals, families, multi-generational households, or communal living concepts that require separate but connected living units.
The 3D tour and detailed documentation are available upon request.
Outdoor Area
The property is embedded in a generous, nature-friendly garden in a pronounced hillside location. The garden offers various usage possibilities as a recreational, play, or retreat area and emphasizes the special character of the property.
From the street, a footpath leads up to the house over a meadow. Additionally, there is a private access road with a forecourt. In front of the building, there is a terrace with an unobstructed view over the landscape up to the Jura – a place with high quality of stay and a wide view.
From the terrace, one can directly access the apartment on the ground floor. Through the covered arbor, one reaches the apartment from the upper and attic floors with the studio – the upper living areas are exclusively accessed via this external entrance.
To the side of the house is a sheltered garden area with shrubs and trees as well as access to the historic vaulted cellar, which is ideal for storage or as a wine cellar. At the back, the private garden area opens up to the studio – quietly located and with a lot of privacy.
Apartments and Room Layout
The property includes a total of three living areas: a self-contained apartment on the ground floor, a maisonette apartment above it over the upper and attic floors, and a separately accessible studio in the attic. The room structure allows for flexible use – for multi-generational living, living and working under one roof, or a combination of self-use and partial rental.
Apartment on the Ground Floor
This apartment forms the main entrance area of the property. Upon entering, the view opens up to the open kitchen opposite. To the left is a spacious dining area with a window front to the terrace. Behind it is a practical storage room, which is ideal as a pantry or storage space.
To the right of the kitchen are two rooms arranged that share a centrally located, historic oven – with an open view in the upper area. The bathroom has been expanded and features a shower and a washing machine. A separate exit leads to the back of the house, where the access to the technical room is located.
