We are a cosmopolitan 6-person shared flat (3 women / 3 men). Our flatmates are between 23 and 33 years old and work in very different fields - from students to social educators, from chemical laboratory technicians to primary school teachers and social workers, to truck drivers.
We are a diverse and fun group that highly values living together. Social exchange is important to us: we like to cook together in the evenings, play games, chat in a cozy atmosphere or do something together.
In general:
Our house offers spacious communal areas (100 m²): a welcoming living room with a fireplace, a well-equipped open kitchen, a home cinema, a garden seating area, a creative corner and a sauna. At the same time, however, everyone should be able to retreat to their own room at any time.
Thanks to three bathrooms, there are no bottlenecks even during the morning rush hour.
In our garden we currently keep six laying quails, a project in which you can participate, but you are not obliged to participate.
Order and cleanliness are important to us - and because we share the tasks among six, the effort for everyone remains pleasantly limited.
We buy basic groceries and other everyday necessities together - prioritizing sustainability and regional origin.
Location:
Our shared flat is located in the heart of Herisau. There is a bus stop directly in front of the house (18 minutes to St. Gallen HB), on the opposite side of the street there are Migros, Denner and Müller, very conveniently located shops. A public park adjoins our garden, offering space for various activities. Various sports and leisure activities can be found within a five-minute walk.
The room:
The room is located on the 1st floor, is approx. 8.5 m² in size, has a large window, a built-in wardrobe along one wall and a marble floor. It is also possible to place a wardrobe or a small table in the corridor.
If you can imagine being part of our shared flat, just write to us and briefly introduce yourself - we look forward to getting to know you.
