Two free rooms in a shared apartment in a quiet location in Bern – available from May 1st
Are you looking for a quiet, cozy home in Bern? From May 1st, our shared apartment is dissolving, and two rooms will become free: a 13 m² room and a spacious 24 m² room. The apartment is located in Fischermätteli (3008) – a green, relaxed neighborhood very close to the Inselspital hospital, the city center, forests, public transport, and various supermarkets. Everything is easily accessible on foot or by bike.
Rent:
13 m² room: 515 CHF/month + utilities
→ Note: This room is outside the apartment door – feel free to check out the pictures!
24 m² room: 785 CHF/month + utilities
The smaller room is currently occupied by Elisa, who is going on a trip at the end of April. The larger room (24 m²) will soon be free, as Caro (27) will move in with her boyfriend in the coming months.
Both rooms can also be rented by one person – the smaller one is ideal as a home office or studio.
About the apartment:
The apartment is equipped with everything you need in everyday life: a bathroom, a kitchen with oven and dishwasher, a shared washing machine and dryer, and a sunny balcony. Although the balcony belongs to the larger room, it has always been used communally.
The smaller room can be taken over furnished (bed, desk, wardrobe).
About me:
My name is Laura, I am 29 years old, and I moved to Bern in September 2023 – partly because of my love for the mountains, and partly for my master's degree. I currently work part-time as a physiotherapist and study Health Sciences at the University of Lucerne. I am constantly looking for a good balance between work, studies, and leisure time.
In my free time, I prefer to be outdoors: I love climbing, trail running, and road cycling. In winter, I enjoy skiing. Besides all that, I have started training to become a yoga therapist and am intensively involved in personal development. I am vegan and attach great importance to environmental protection, equal rights, and lived tolerance.
A relaxed, warm home is very important to me. I appreciate the exchange over a cup of tea or a shared dinner, as well as quiet moments and respectful handling of the need for retreat.
What is important to me in living together:
I have lived in shared apartments for over 11 years and have noticed that I want an open-minded, reflective, and approachable flatmate with shared apartment experience – ideally from 27 years old. Mutual respect, genuine interest in each other, and open communication are close to my heart. There should be room to openly address things and find solutions together when something doesn't quite work.
Do you have similar ideas about living together? :)
Then I look forward to your message! Tell me a little about yourself, your interests, what you want from shared apartment life – and maybe also what your everyday life looks like.
