The apartment is available from April 26, 2025 (possibly earlier) until June 22, 2025. The price is 600.-/month, but can be negotiated just like the move-in and move-out dates.

I am renting a bright, beautiful room in a two-person shared apartment in the Mattenhof district. The apartment has a living room, a room for you, one for my roommate, and a large kitchen with a seating area. It is located in an old building that is exclusively inhabited by shared apartments. The apartment also has a small balcony off the living room.

Our apartment is a 20-minute walk from Bern train station, and tram 6 as well as bus 17 towards the station stop almost directly in front of the door. There are shopping options just around the corner.

You will share the apartment with my roommate (29). He is very easy-going, loves board games and drinking Cosmos, and teaches at the university of applied sciences. Additionally, you will share the room with Monty (7), a royal python. He is absolutely tame, has a large terrarium, and is completely content as long as no one bothers him. If this is a problem, Monty can possibly move out for a while.

Your room (lockable) is equipped with a double bed. It has some built-in wardrobes where you can have space if needed. It also has a small sofa with a sound system in the room as well as a desk.
In the living room, there is also a sound system and a projector for home cinema. We also have a genuine collection of board games available.

Since only shared apartments live in the house, all parties are very noise-tolerant. Nevertheless, the apartment is very quiet. You won't hear any traffic noise in your room, but there is a construction site next to the house, which can sometimes be audible during the day with the window open. A bike is at your disposal. There is a washing machine for the whole house in the basement, and its use is free.

The bathroom, like the whole apartment, is older but offers a shower and a bathtub. The kitchen is very spacious and has a built-in seating area that is great for communal meals.
