An unbelievable story continues...
311 years, a purchase, a demolition, a relocation and a reconstruction in Allschwil.
Thanks to a vision, the half-timbered house continues to write history!
The traditional half-timbered house was built in 1704 in Blotzheim, Alsace, very close to the Swiss border. The half-timbered house, which at that time was in a state of decay, was professionally dismantled down to its foundations, thanks to the modular construction concept. Floors, beams, planks and numerous elements from the construction period were carefully separated, treated and reworked. The detached house was disassembled, restored and rebuilt in a prominent location.
The historic house has been completely renovated and equipped with the latest materials, techniques and refinements. Nothing remains of the former condition. The history has been skillfully processed by the owner and the house is ready for a new life. It shines not only in the sunlight but also inside. You will feel it as soon as you enter. A truly magical place, house and history.
The location speaks for itself. In the immediate vicinity of the picturesque village square of Allschwil lies the completely renovated historic half-timbered house. In the immediate vicinity are connections to the public transport network (tram/bus) as well as shopping facilities, kindergartens, schools, a variety of leisure activities and recreational areas. The city center of Basel can be reached in less than 15 minutes.
I would be happy to send you the detailed rental exposé and look forward to your inquiry.
