The latest project in the emerging West Areal, promoted by the canton and city, is called KURT 12 and is currently in the construction completion phase after thorough planning.
The realization of the second office building by Krämer Bau AG at this excellent location is the combination of sustainable construction with maximum user flexibility. Here, real work landscapes are being created for administration, medical practices, therapy rooms, training areas, showrooms, and think-tank and development workshops. The ground floor also stands out as an excellent retail space. The construction concept of KURT 12 focuses, among other things, on LowTech as well as on the reduction of CO2 emissions and energy consumption. Kurt 12 carries the Minergie P-Label for the highest standards and offers sustainably easy-to-maintain systems with the installed LowTech solutions, which manifests in low ancillary costs for the tenants. Freecooling is another step into the future! In our rental spaces, you will keep a cool head even in summer. This is thanks to the 21 newly drilled ground probes with heat pump.
To close the sustainability cycle, three PV systems will also be installed on both building roofs and on the south facade of Kurt 13. They will produce a significant portion of the electricity. The charging stations for E-vehicles in the underground garage are also powered by our natural electricity.
The philosophy of the owner is already being lived: "We build and trust in sustainability in construction quality as well as in our rental relationships."
