You can expect a very special jewel!
The House zur Baliere was built from 1555 to 1557 as a residential and commercial building. Today it also houses the city gallery, which is available to artists from the Frauenfeld region.
Through a glass staircase that reveals the changing exhibitions, you reach the two-story 4.0 room apartment. It has been lovingly renovated with great attention to detail and offers a unique living atmosphere for singles and couples.
Through a spacious entrance area that connects the modern staircase with the living spaces from the 16th century, you enter the apartment. On the lower floor, there are 3 rooms that can be used as a hallway, dining room, and living room. The living room impresses with its sash windows facing east and south. Also located on this floor are the modern kitchen and a bathroom.
In the upper part of the apartment, there is another room, a storage room with its own washing machine and dryer, as well as a well-developed attic space.
Let yourself be inspired!
BALIERESTRASSE 26/28
The House zur Baliere was built from 1555 to 1557 as a residential and commercial building for Hans Hoffmann, a balierer or sword polisher from Nuremberg, who moved from Lindau.
From 1992 to 1994, the old timber-framed building was renovated in style and complemented on the west side with an extension that matches the old building. In the basement as well as on the ground floor and first floor of the city gallery Baliere, rooms are available for exhibitions. On the first floor, there is also a room for lectures or readings for a maximum of 40 people.
The apartment is located on the upper two floors of the house and is very centrally located.
