We are exchanging our very centrally located and traffic-quiet 3.5-room apartment in the Steinfels development in district 5 for a larger apartment. The apartment is ideally located in a traffic-calmed area between Escher-Wyss-Platz and Viadukt, and thus not far from many restaurants/bars, yet quiet with windows only to the courtyard. If we didn't need an additional room, we could stay here forever. We have been living in district 5 as a small family for almost 7 years and feel very comfortable. The apartment offers an open living/dining area, two rooms of about 16 m2, a separate guest toilet, and a bathroom with bathtub and private toilet, as well as a spacious storage room with washing tower. One of the two rooms has a large sliding door and can be used as an extension of the living space. The apartment has three floor-to-ceiling windows and many other windows, allowing a lot of light into the apartment. Due to the southeast orientation, it is pleasantly bright without getting too warm. There is no balcony, but a huge shared rooftop terrace (really huge). Due to family growth, we are looking for a larger apartment with at least 4 rooms, ideally with a balcony and at least 90 m2, at an acceptable price-performance ratio, for up to 4,000 CHF. Exchange date flexible.
