I am exchanging my beloved, freshly renovated apartment on Stauffacherstrasse for something larger. The apartment was renovated in 2021. The old herringbone parquet was retained and the linoleum floors in the kitchen, hallway, and bathroom were replaced with easy-care light gray stone.
Kitchen appliances, cabinets, and the bathroom were completely renovated including plumbing. The balcony (new approx. 12sqm) was also expanded and all windows and the front door were replaced. The apartment is incredibly centrally located yet very quiet. The trees on Stauffacherstrasse provide plenty of shade in summer, making even hot summers very bearable.
Nearby are various hotspots such as Cafe du Bonheur, Bullingerplatz, as well as Bullingerhof or Bäckeranlage. Güterbahnhof or Lochergut are the nearest public transport connections.
The apartment includes a large cellar compartment and a shared laundry room that is usually free. However, connections for a private washing tower were also installed during the renovation. A corresponding niche was also built into the bathroom.
It is hard for me to post this ad online, as I really do not want to part with this gem. However, in the long term, we will need more space.
