The neighbourhood is fairly quiet and family friendly. There's a primary school a 5 minute walk away and plenty of playgrounds in the area.
With the best public transport connection, Zürich HB can be reached within roughly 30 minutes door to door (156 bus to Adliswil Bahnhof, then S4 to Zürich). In addition to Schulhaus Kopfholz, a bus stop 5 minutes away, which has the 152 and 156 bus routes, there is also Loorain. From Loorain, the 185 bus can go directly to Bürkliplatz.
The price for everything, including Nebenkosten, is CHF 2'882/month. Additionally, actual Nebenkosten are calculated each year and a share is billed to each tenant. Recently this has been around CHF 2'000/year.
The apartment is listed as pet-friendly but please be advised that this requires arrangement with the landlady and is primarily intended with cats in mind. As we've installed cat nets on the balcony and have no wish to remove them, our hope is that the next tenant has or will have cats, but this isn't a hard requirement. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed.
The apartment will be ready after some repairs to the parkett floors, likely around the 1st of August.
