The Mayens-de-Sion are located on the south slope of the Rhône valley and overlook the city of Sion. Moreover, the large bourgeois families of the capital have spent their summers in the region since ancient times. The region has many hiking trails and also the bisse de Vex which crosses the mayens-de-Sion and offers a magnificent walk along the water for several kilometers.
