Green Life

In a small valley between Bruggerberg and Iberg lies the municipality of Riniken, about two kilometers northwest of Brugg. In Riniken, efforts are made to preserve the townscape in the old village center. So far, this has been quite successful. Many former farmhouses, like the "Laubhaus", have been lovingly converted and renovated. Even though these houses are no longer used for agricultural purposes, the character of the original farming village has remained. Riniken has about 1600 inhabitants.
