The municipality of Fétigny is located at the edge of the Estavayer-Le-Lac enclave, along the Payerne – Combremont road axis in the canton of Fribourg. It maintains friendly relations with its neighbors, the municipalities of Cugy (FR), Granges-Marnand (VD), Ménières (FR), and Payerne (VD). These relationships are particularly close with the municipality of Ménières, with which it shares increasingly more activities in the educational, religious, sports, and cultural fields. At the border of the cantonal boundaries, Fétigny is at the center of the Broye.
