The building land is located on the western slope of Flüh in a sunny and slightly elevated position with a view over the valley towards Mariastein and along the valley towards Alsace. The natural integration and proximity to public transport guarantee a residential location with high living value.
We are creating two residential units directly at the edge of the forest, which are located in the spacious garden of an existing property from 1931. A footpath leads past the carport with storage room and the existing house, accessing the new houses from the valley side. The forest path on the mountain side can be reached directly from the garden.
In particular, the living floor should offer maximum flexibility and be able to adapt to the respective life phase. The open floor plan is ideally suited as a generous living space for two people but can also be divided and used with two separate rooms depending on the number of residents. Depending on the expansion, these are residential units with 3 to 5 rooms. The careful and thoughtful handling of space areas and the compact building form allow for houses with qualitatively good living space at reasonable prices.
This is a very sustainable construction method; only the base plate and the earth-contacting exterior walls are planned to be solid concrete. All other walls and ceilings will be constructed in prefabricated timber construction with a ventilated facade. We place great importance on the use of ecological building materials. The houses will be equipped with an air-water heat pump, underfloor heating with low temperature, and basic ventilation.
Construction is scheduled to start in autumn 2025, with occupancy planned for summer 2026.
