Wila is located in the Pfäffikon district, in the canton of Zurich. The extensive, nature-like recreation area, but also the diverse, active club life offer residents opportunities for varied leisure activities. This rural setting, together with kindergarten, primary and secondary schools, provides the best conditions for the harmonious development of children and young people. Young and old feel at home here. All the more so since attractive jobs in Winterthur and Zurich are practically on the doorstep. Also noteworthy is the connection to public and motorized transport infrastructure.

The generously designed single-family house is located on the southern edge of the village of Wila in a small residential area without through traffic. Within walking distance are the bus stop, the train station, the school for all ages, shopping facilities and other infrastructures. The Töss with its kilometer-long riverside path is only a stone's throw from the house.
The S11 provides direct connections between Wila and Zurich-Stadelhofen and Zurich main station.
Anyone who occasionally drives through the village of Wila on the Tösstalstrasse may remember the dominant church, the striking half-timbered building of the old post office or various Flarzhäuser, which convey a slight touch of the Wild West. Behind this backdrop, in small side valleys, lie quiet residential areas and hidden scenic beauties that are worth seeking out and exploring. The surroundings of the village are surprisingly rich in nature reserves, some of supra-communal importance such as the Rodweid and Schneggenwald reed landscapes, the reservoirs behind the Rosenberg, on the Mülibach and in the Boden or the Arsbach-Giessen near Talgarten, hardly known even to locals.
Wila is located in the Töss Valley between the municipalities of Turbenthal and Bauma. To the east, the municipality borders the canton of Thurgau and to the west the municipality of Wildberg. Hamlets in the vicinity of Wila are: Schalchen (SW), Tablat (SO), Aegetswil (E), Au (S) and Sitzberg (NE). The five hamlets represent typical settlements in the Tössbergland. Like Wila's center, Tablat and Au are valley settlements, Aegetswil and Sitzberg are terraced settlements on the Hörnlikette, while Sitzberg (with its own church and famous organ) belongs to the neighboring municipality of Turbenthal.
