Proudly above the Aare, in the middle of the village center, I was built in 1771. My foundation is very well preserved, because I have been well preserved for a long time in this attractive location, outside the danger zone, which is a very important value in today's time with climate change.
Access to me is uncomplicated, whether winter or summer, and leads through the authentic village center. From my address it is only one-way traffic. This allows a very good quality of life combined with safety, especially for children and pets.
Of course, time has not stood still with me. In 1987 I was extensively renovated and modernized with a lot of love, while the original charm was preserved.
The traditional exterior facade remained unchanged except for the renovated balcony on the south side which adjoins the living room on the upper floor (OG). Furthermore, I received a new entrance on the upper floor supplemented by a guest toilet, a new kitchen, whose appliances - stove, oven and refrigerator - were replaced in 2017, as well as an additional room (9 m2) on the north side.
In the two natural cellars, which are characterized by the historical construction, naturally now with electricity connection, I received a modern heating system in 2003, heat pump with geothermal probe, 200 liter boiler and a socket for charging the e-car.
In 2018 I received new floor coverings on the ground floor, i.e. entrance/corridor room and bathroom.
I am very proud of the garden terrace, approx. 15 m2, directly next to the entrance/kitchen on the upper floor on the east side. In the morning sun you can enjoy your breakfast here with the unique view over the Aare into the mountains, read a good novel, or simply sit there and watch the everyday "goings-on".
My grounds offer a variety of possibilities for garden lovers, for pursuing hobbies and for relaxing.
Of course, my balcony on the south side with its diverse views invites you to relax - watching the "weather play" is a special experience.
My "interior" offers plenty of space with charm and well-being, in the living room the Swedish stove warms your heart during the cold season.
