Location:

La Tzoumaz, formerly known as Mayens-de-Riddes, is a Swiss locality in the canton of Valais located in the municipality of Riddes. The resort overlooks the Rhône plain from the slopes of a small sunny valley, on the northern side of Verbier. The village has about 500 inhabitants year-round.

The locality is part of the ski area of the 4 Valleys with Nendaz, Thyon, Verbier, and Veysonnaz.

The ski resort of La Tzoumaz has 410 km of slopes. Skiing, snowboarding, and sledding are practiced here, including one of the longest sledding tracks in western Switzerland: 10 km long with a drop of 848 meters. Three marked trails offer snowshoe practitioners 13.5 km of track and a winter trail.
