La Chaux-de-Fonds, the fourth city of the Romandy region and located at an altitude of 1000 meters, was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2009. The city is distinguished by a checkerboard plan created during its reconstruction in the early 19th century and hosts all the necessary infrastructure such as primary schools, secondary schools, transport, swimming pool, ice rink, museums, etc.
Built in 1902 and fully renovated in 2021 with complete insulation, this cozy and secluded house offers an intimate living space for a couple, a single person, or a small family.
The house is fully heated with an automatic pellet stove that provides both heating for the home and the production of hot water. This economical, ecological, and modern system is very easy to use and offers excellent performance.
The main entrance is located on the first floor and opens onto a beautiful living room with an open kitchen (and American fridge). The bathroom with a washing column and WC completes this level.
The second floor opens onto a small hall that will accommodate a library, some plants, or an armchair. From there, you access a living space that distributes to 2 slightly sloped bedrooms (the roof has been insulated). It should be noted that the distribution hall can accommodate a workspace.
Finally, on the ground floor, you benefit from an independent entrance and an additional bedroom that could very well be suitable for conducting a professional activity at home.
The house is perfectly habitable as it is and does not require any work.
