Orbe is a charming little town in Nord-Vaud that is very easy to access and steeped in an essential medieval past.
The town is connected to the Chavornay CFF train station by the Orbe-Chavornay train line. Yverdon-les-Bains is 15 minutes away and Lausanne is half an hour away via the A1 motorway. Orbe has all the necessary services, schools, cinema, and hospital.
Located on a small street without nuisance, this 18th-century master house has retained its original charm, which will delight lovers of authentic things.
With its solid wood floors, high ceilings, large openings, marble fireplaces, its functional Kachelofen (tiled mass stove), and woodwork, the house has been very well restored in its original style.
Although located in the center of the town, being in a dominant south-facing position, the house enjoys maximum sunlight with a view of the countryside and some glimpses of the Alps.
The house is divided into two parts.
