A Piece of Bagnard History at 1,700 m

Engraved on the facade, the dates 1818 and 1838 say it all: this mayen has witnessed two centuries of Alpine life. Perched at an altitude of 1,699 m, on the edge of the forest, it looks out over the valley and the peaks of the Val de Bagnes just as it did on the very first day.
