The Restaurant Panorama on the Bürchneralp is located at 2000 m above sea level, offers a breathtaking view of the mountain landscape, and is a popular mountain inn for young and old. In summer, it is frequented by families, hikers, motorcyclists, mountain bikers, and Trotti enthusiasts – in winter, it becomes a snow-covered ski hut for après-ski in the area.
Location
The restaurant is situated on a northern slope above Bürchen on the Bürchneralp. Due to its good exposure, it can be expected to have many hours of sunshine even in winter. The unobstructed view offers a wonderful panorama of the mountains from the Valais to the Bernese Alps. In winter, the sledding slope starts right at the restaurant, and the ski slope is just a short distance away – a sought-after place for winter sports enthusiasts. In summer, the public bus stops directly in front of the restaurant. The narrow road from Bürchen is also popular with hikers, mountain bikers, and motorcyclists – it can also be easily accessed by car. And all this without servitudes!
Outdoor Area
The terrace is oriented to the west and promises a relaxing time at the restaurant with plenty of sunshine. Up to 120 seats are available for guests. The outdoor area has been steadily expanded and renovated in recent years. The windbreak ensures undisturbed meals, and the pergola provides refreshing breaks. The playground offers nice entertainment for the little ones while the adults enjoy the mountain world. The Raclette hut ensures direct service for guests and is equipped with the appropriate devices.
Indoor Area
On fresh days, guests can find up to 45 seats in the restaurant. A fireplace/Swedish stove and oil stove provide cozy warmth in the charming restaurant. Drinks can be tapped and served directly at the buffet. A small sink supports quick service. Additionally, there are two toilets with a washbasin for guests.
Kitchen and Cellar
The kitchen is divided into two rooms. The first room has a stove and oven for hot dishes, a coffee machine, and a dishwasher with a large sink. In the second room, cold platters can be optimally prepared with the automatic slicing machine.
Further back is the access for staff, a slightly lower cellar, optimal for storing drinks, and a cold cellar for other food items. Via the tank room (which also offers a bit of storage space), the barn is accessible.
Barn
The barn provides storage space for all necessary equipment and utensils for the operation of the restaurant. It also has a second floor for even more space. Outside the barn, there are E-bike charging stations.
The inventory is sold for an additional CHF 70,000.
