Thyon 2000 is a winter resort that also stands out during the summer period. It is located in central Valais about 30 minutes from the city of Sion. It is part of the municipality of Vex and is situated on the ski area of the 4 valleys. At an altitude of 2000 meters, it enjoys exceptional conditions in winter. From the resort, you have a breathtaking view of the Val d'Hérens and its mountains. You can also observe the queen and king of the Swiss Alps, namely the Matterhorn and La Dent-Blanche. During the winter period, you are immediately on the ski slopes of the area, and in summer, you are at the starting point of many hiking trails, including the one that leads you to the Grande Dixence Dam.
