Selkingen is easily accessible all year round via a well-developed cantonal road. By car, you can drive via Bern through the Lötschberg tunnel (car transport), from the west via the highway (Vevey, Martigny, Sion, Brig), from the east via Furka (car transport) and from the south over the Simplon or Nufenen pass into Goms.

General information about Selkingen
The mountain village of Selkingen is located at 1,318 m above sea level and belongs to the district of Goms, a beautiful and nature-friendly area in Upper Valais. Biel, Gluringen, Selkingen, and Ritzingen were part of the district of Grafschaft. Since 2017, Grafschaft has belonged to the municipality of Goms. Nature has shaped the village and its inhabitants over the centuries. The alpine high valley offers a fantastic hiking network and is known as a Nordic ski center beyond the national borders. The leisure and experience offerings in Goms are very diverse: numerous hiking trails, countless mountain tours, forest playgrounds, winter hiking trails, Nordic walking paths, snowshoe tours, cycling and MTB tours, river rafting, and much more.
