Four kilometers from Moutier, on the road to Balsthal, Grandval offers passersby the face of a peaceful village, at the entrance to the Cornet, "this piece of land", which marks the eastern border of the Burgundian lands and borders the Alemannic lands. The name Grandval will forever be associated with that of the Moutier-Grandval priory. The village is over a thousand years old; it entered history on March 9, 968.
The village is accessible by train and bus and also offers a small village shop/store for dairy products and a butcher. Some craftsmen also offer professional services to the residents.
This ensemble of 3 buildings can be used for various projects/purposes. On a large, building-ready plot in the commercial zone (with part in the green zone), one can imagine various options.
Initially, a craftsman will appreciate the large industrial area with office and WC (currently a car garage) and a second building (unheated) with carport, which can serve as a garage, storage, gym, etc. The adjacent house, consisting of 2 apartments, a studio, and an office, has a large terrace that occupies the entire roof area of the industrial building. All windows are equipped with triple glazing and the doors of the house have also been replaced.
2 of the 3 apartments are currently rented and the last one is occupied by the owner.
On the ground floor, on the west side, there is still a nice covered terrace, lawns, and various fruit trees.
On the east side, a large asphalted area allows for parking many cars or erecting a new construction.
Finally, a project developer will see the opportunity here to build new constructions, thanks to the potential of the generous plot, of which about 1,600 m2 is in the commercial zone (the rest is in the green zone).
