The well-maintained apartment is located in the first row at the main square of the holiday residence Aragon in Ernen. The unobstructed, wide view into the Rhone Valley and the surrounding mountain landscape of the Aletsch Arena offers great recreational value.
The apartment is accessible on the ground floor. Due to the hillside location, the balcony is on the 1st floor. The living room features a seating area, as well as a kitchenette with dining table and two foldaway beds. Thus, four functions are combined in a small space without feeling cramped. In the small bedroom, a bunk bed awaits the children. However, the room is also large enough for a double bed (160x200).
The underground parking space belonging to the apartment is included in the mentioned purchase price at a fixed price of CHF 25,000.--.
Included in the purchase price, in addition to the complete furniture/inventory, are also a cellar room, shares in the communal laundry room, the bike/ski room, and land shares in the park area and playgrounds.
A purchase permit for non-Swiss citizens is available.
The holiday residence Aragon is maintained and serviced year-round by a permanently employed caretaker. There is a reception with rental service and a kiosk. At the large children's playground, there is also the possibility to grill and sit together. Outdoor chess and table tennis tables are installed at the main square. The entire holiday settlement is car-free. Many photos and further information about the Aragon can be found on the website difa-Immobilien.ch.
Ernen, located on a sun terrace (1200m) in the Upper Valais landscape park Binntal, is one of the most beautiful villages in Switzerland (Wakker Prize 1979), with plenty of nature and culture, a completely preserved historic village center, and vibrant present, with good restaurants, Volg village shop, organic shop, tourist office, museum, and a rich cultural offering. You can reach the village center from Aragon on foot after 500m. The nearest post bus stop is at the entrance of the holiday settlement.
Opposite, on the other side of the Rhône, is the UNESCO World Heritage Site Aletsch Glacier, with the Alps Fiescheralp, Bettmeralp, and Riederalp.
In summer, Ernen is all about music: in the magnificent church, you can hear chamber and baroque music, jazz, and organ music in concerts and even during rehearsals. In addition, literature and writing seminars, readings, and exhibitions are offered. The landscape park Binntal has steadily expanded its offerings of information, guided hikes, and events in recent years and offers these year-round. There are also numerous offerings for children.
In winter, a free ski bus runs several times daily from the holiday settlement directly to the nearby ski area "Aletsch Arena" to the public transport hub in Fiesch. From there, the cross-country skiing paradise Obergoms is also easily accessible. Snowshoe trails and ski tours for gentle tourism are available in the landscape park Binntal.
