Hi there!

After 2 amazing years in this apartment, I decided to move in my own flat and my current roommate is thus looking for someone to sub-rent a ~15m² bedroom in her cozy flat starting July 1st 2025 (we can arrange 1-2 weeks earlier bilaterally). Location is next to Hirschwiesenstrasse, very well-connected to Oerlikon and the center/HB. Area is very quiet, and the price is incredible for a room / apartment of this size.
The apartment has a dishwasher, shared washing machine / dryer in the basement, and extra storage space in the attic and in a cellar. The flat has a living room with sofa, beamer for movies, dinner table and balcony. There is no designated parking space, but the street has lots of blue zone spaces.
Your room is expected to come unfurnished (TBC), but the rest of the furniture will stay (as belonging to the tenant who is staying).

About your future roommate:
Nadine is 33 (F), Swiss, speaks German, English and some French/Italian, a bit of Japanese. She is currently finalizing her PhD and works from home 2-3 days a week. While busy with her thesis, on her free time she likes to indulge in her vinyl collection, reading, watching old movies, sharing a nice homemade dinner, and meeting friends.

About you:
You ideally are around 26-35 years old, independent, likes to socialize around spontaneous dinners / evening discussions, and value cleanliness and quietness (especially after 10pm, this is Switzerland after all). This is a flat share where friends are always welcome to come by and hang out, but this is not intended to be a party WG...

Important to know before contacting us:
There is a new building under construction next to the apartment. While not an issue for me nor Nadine, workers start at 7am Monday-Friday so this may disturb you if you are very sleep-sensitive.
Our building will also be subject to construction work, expected early 2027 (so you would have the room for 18months minimum, and likely more but we cannot officially guarantee this).
