Single room for rent - 8046 Zürich

The room is a large corner room with a good view in a 4.5 room flat. I am renting out the room including the furniture (see picture). Our flat is on the first floor of a small building on the outskirts of Zurich (Affoltern, district 11). 25 minutes from the flat by public transport you are at the central train station and even faster in Oerlikon, ETH-Höngg or at the Katzensee for a walk. We have a large living room, two bathrooms and a balcony from which you can see the most beautiful sunsets.

I am renting out the room for a limited period from 1 August 2025 to 31 January 2026.

The rent for the room is 880 francs per month, plus variable utilities (Nebenkosten), which should probably be around 25 francs per month.

We are three people who have shared the flat in this constellation for about a year. We all know each other from our high school days. Elia (24) recently completed his bachelor's degree in computer science and is now doing an internship. In his free time, he goes bouldering, games or cooks a great Asian dish. Linus (23) completed his Bachelor's degree in Food Science a year ago and will now start his Master's degree after a gap year. He is rarely to be found without headphones or other music sources, but you may very well see him doing yoga, going to the gym or for a walk. I am 23 and studying law, but will be in Denmark for a semester abroad and am therefore renting out my room from August to January. Thus, you'll be spending your time in the flat with Linus and Elia. We don't just live together to save money - we're all friends, eat together regularly and sometimes do things together. Of course, everyone also values their privacy.

We are looking for an open, social and reliable person. It is important to us to find a flatmate who fits in well with us and also wants to eat together from time to time. It is also important to us that everyone does their fair share to keep the flat clean (chores etc.) - but of course we don't search for dust with a magnifying glass!
