Hi,
Since I'm about to leave the life of shared flats behind me, I'm looking for a successor to take over my room. The room and flat are ideal for new arrivals to Zurich – or just somebody who appreciates the combination of a spacious apartment, great connections to the city centre, and a moderate price by Zurich standards.
The room itself is about 18 square meters large, with a north / north-easterly window. It is furnished with a bed, incl. mattress, built-in wardrobes, a desk with a bookshelf, office chair, commode, and nightstand. Tenants who're willing to take over the furniture are preferable, but a negotiable point.
The flat as a whole comprises 5.5 rooms, incl. four bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, kitchen, balcony, and rooftop terrace for the exclusive use of the flat. The flat's on the third floor, elevator included. Aside from the rooftop terrace (and winter garden), the flat also has its own laundry room incl. washing machine and dryer. Finally, there's also a separate storage compartment in the cellar as well as a bike room for all flats' use.
With regards to the location, it's about 5 minutes on foot to the tram stop Hubertus. HB, Bahnhof Wiedikon, and Hardbrücke can be reached within 15-20 minutes via public transport (Tram # 3 or bus), as can several supermarkets (Aldi, Coop, Migros, Denner) and cafes or bakeries. The 'Sihlfeld' cemetery is just 5 minutes away if you're looking for a quiet, green oasis.
Moving in would be possible from 1 October, most likely a few days earlier. Preference will be given to applicants willing to become a main tenant, together with one of the other flatmates. Please include a brief mention in your message as to whether you're willing to do so.
