The heat demand for space heating and domestic hot water is generated by a ground probe using a heat pump, which can be switched to cooling in summer. The apartment, as well as the additional room in the basement, has underfloor heating, which can be used for gentle cooling in summer. Electricity for the property is generated via a photovoltaic system, and tenants benefit from cheap electricity through the self-consumption association ("ZEF").
