The town center is about a 10-15 minute walk away. There you will find numerous restaurants, bars, supermarkets, sports shops, specialty shops, and a bank.

A large part of Grächen is car-free, and a large parking lot is available.

Grächen is very well connected by public transport. From Brig, the Matterhorn-Gotthard-Bahn goes to St. Niklaus. The post bus takes you to the Niedergrächen station after changing (on weekends, there are even direct buses between Visp and Grächen), from where the chalet is only a four-minute walk away. You can also reach Zermatt by public transport in just under an hour or by car in about 30 minutes.
