Away from any hustle and bustle, in the Maiensäss village Schlappin, at approx. 1650 meters above sea level, there is a small, cozy cottage built before 1900. The adjacent stable, on the neighbouring property, dates from 1795. The cottage is still used, but due to its age it requires renovation. The property is subject to old law and is therefore not subject to the restrictions of the second home initiative.
The peace and quiet and the view are particularly appreciated. Access to Schlappin is only permitted with a driving permit, which limits traffic. In summer, Schlappin can be reached in 10 minutes by car from Klosters. In winter, the mountain farm can be reached on skis or by snowmobile.
The cottage has no water connection, but there is a communal well a few meters away. The mountain farm has an outside toilet. The kitchen is in operation, but requires renovation.
Heating is provided by a central stove in the living room. The mountain farm is connected to the electricity grid and there is also a photovoltaic system on the opposite stable.
Next to the cottage there is a spacious stable, which is currently mainly used as a storage room.
There is a parking space next to the stable. Public parking spaces can be found about 300 meters from the mountain farm.

The slight slope allows for perfect sun exposure and a wide view of the surrounding mountains.
From Klosters village, Schlappin can be reached in about 10 minutes by car. A mountain restaurant is located right at the entrance to the village.
