High above the Rhone Valley, amidst an impressive mountain landscape, this characterful two-family chalet is located in Bellwald. The privileged altitude of 1600 m above sea level offers an unobstructed view of the Valais mountains - and at the same time creates a place of tranquility with a high quality of life.
Upon arrival, the property with its wooden facade, shutters, and traditional architecture immediately conveys alpine charm. A garage and three outdoor parking spaces are available. A few steps lead you to the entrance area of the upper living unit.
On the ground floor, you are welcomed by a bright dining and living room with access to the adjacent terrace - an ideal place for outdoor meals or quiet evenings. The separate kitchen and a bathroom complement the space. Natural materials such as wooden ceilings and exposed beams emphasize the warm, homely atmosphere.
The upper floor houses three individually usable rooms. Sloping ceilings, wooden paneling, and plenty of daylight give the rooms a cozy character. A walk-in storage room provides practical storage space and perfectly rounds off the comfortable space offer.
In the basement, there is a separate 2.5-room apartment with its own access. This includes a living room with an open kitchen, a bedroom, and a bathroom - an ideal solution for guests, as a holiday apartment, or for multi-generational use. The layout allows for flexibility and clear separation between the two units.
Outside, you will find several seating areas, a covered outdoor space, and a compact lawn area. The quiet surroundings invite you to relax - whether reading outdoors or enjoying social moments with family and friends. Hiking trails, bike routes, and winter activities start right at your doorstep.
This chalet combines authentic style with practical space structure. It is suitable for both personal use and partial rental - or as a long-term retreat for those who want to not only experience but live the mountain world.
As part of the construction of the wooden seating area, a 5-wire pool cable was proactively laid from the house corner to the middle privacy wall under the ground. The line is intended as preparation for a future installation - for example, for a lamp or a distribution box - and offers the new owner flexible usage options according to their individual ideas.
Important note on usage and availability:
The upper and lower apartments each have their own power box and a separate boiler, allowing for independent use and clear billing.
The chalet is currently rented out to holiday guests in Bellwald during the months of July and August 2025, as well as from early December 2025 to the end of April 2026. The existing rental agreements are firmly established. A transfer of ownership is therefore regularly planned for May 1, 2026. If a purchase is desired before this date, the current rental agreements would need to be taken over.
