This region has been for centuries a first stage of summer grazing, a place where livestock owners brought their animals for a spring stay around mid-May and from there, the cows went to the higher pastures, namely Loutze and Chamosentze. Located in the heart of the Tourbillon forest, the Nordic center is in the middle of the tourist plateau of Ovronnaz and Les Mayens-de-Chamoson. The cross-country ski trails, winding through forest paths, clearings, and pastures, overlook the mayens of the resort. There are routes suitable for everyone. From there, hiking trails lead towards Loutze. A 5-minute drive away, the Ovronnaz resort welcomes you at the foot of the Muverans with its 150 kilometers of hiking trails. In summer and winter, families will find their happiness with the Jorasse chairlift and the avalanche of activities that follow. Not to mention the famous thermal baths!
