Construction Description
Construction / Building Method / Building Technology
The house was built around 1840 in mixed construction of rubble stone masonry and wooden beam structure. From 2008 to 2012, the building was renovated down to the load-bearing structure and equipped with the latest technical installations. The house presents itself today in a harmonious overall picture through the combination of restored and modern finishing materials. Particularly noteworthy are the carefully refreshed parquet floors as well as the Glarner paneling on numerous walls and ceilings. In other rooms, the walls have been plastered and new parquet floors laid. In the entrance area, kitchens, and wet cells, there are floors made of fine stoneware and ceramic tiles. The fire-resistant closing doors and numerous room doors are finished in the style of the 19th century.
The owners have selected the materials appropriately, stylishly, and with attention to detail and have ensured a high quality of execution. The roof covered with tiles and the dormers covered with copper were newly constructed in 2008.
The fiber optic cable was installed in 2024. Only the facade plaster was left in its original condition and appearance.
