Following the Rhine southwards, the Alps draw closer – and with them the historic village of Malans in the sun-drenched >>Bündner Herrschaft<<. Nestled in the vineyards lies the tower house, a building from the year 1686, which was owned by the von Salis de Bothmar family until the middle of the 20th century. Taken over by the current owners in 1979, it was comprehensively restored by 2005 with the support of the monument preservation authorities.
The property now comprises five independent apartments. On the ground floor alone, a 2.5-room studio and a 3-room garden apartment with impressive vaulted and beamed ceilings are captivating. The upper floors house two spacious apartments with 5.5 to 6 rooms – equipped with historical details, panelling, tiled stoves and carefully restored substance. A particularly magnificent room on the 1st floor bears the inscription: >>David Pfau Haffner zu Winterthur 1688<<.
The apartment on the 2nd floor also offers a large terrace. Above, on the 3rd and 4th floors and in the tower, there is a 7-room apartment with loft-like rooms, a terrace and a wide panoramic view.
The tower house is ideally suited as a luxurious multi-family house or a spacious family home – with plenty of room for privacy and style. Here, modern living, historical substance and a natural environment can be perfectly combined.
