Location
The compartment - parcel 46 - covers an area designated for building development of 2,730 m2. On this area there are: a four-level building with two apartments of 90 m2 on the first floor; a multi-purpose room of 240 m2 and accessory rooms at street level; a large warehouse on the intermediate floor of 200 m2 and a series of stalls on the ground floor for artisanal purposes. Also on the ground floor, a shed is used as a garage/workshop. Extensive outdoor spaces with parking are present at the respective entrances.
The parcel borders the municipal area housing the station, workshop, and locomotive depot of the former Bellinzona-Mesocco Railway. An area, that of the Station, of public and strategic interest on which the Municipality has undertaken a complete "restyling" to recreate the hub of the town. The initial phase of this restyling is underway.
