Architecture
The new buildings visually form a unit through their facade design: protruding concrete bands structure the facades and emphasize the number of floors. Vertical structures visually stretch the elongated flat-roof buildings upwards. The playful arrangement of the floor-to-ceiling windows achieves a great spatial flexibility that allows for free floor plan design. On the garden side, single-storey extensions are attached to the main volumes, serving as balconies for the 1st floor. The attic is set back, creating spacious terrace areas.
Interior
The primary load-bearing structure consists of the facade and the central access core with stairs and lift. The secondary load-bearing structure consists of apartment partition walls extending from the stair core. The internal room partition walls of all 11 apartments are flexible and can be adapted to the needs of future buyers. The floor plans of the architect's proposal are generously designed: the floor plans are barrier-free adaptable, and the common areas of the entire development, including the surroundings, are designed to be threshold-free and thus barrier-free.
