I'm leaving my very spacious (44sqm) and modern studio at the end of May and am looking for someone to take over the lease. Located just steps away from Helvetiaplatz, it's very centrally located, tram 8 and bus 32 stop at Helvetiaplatz, and it's 10min by foot to Zurich HB. There's a Coop and a Denner right outside the building, as well as several 24 hour minimarkets, and lots of bars and restaurants and nightlife around due to its proximity to Langstrasse. Kasernenareal Park is one street down, and there are plenty of gyms around as well. Thanks to the windows facing the inner courtyard and the building generally being very well sound-insulated it is pretty quiet. It is in a side road to Langstrasse though, so if you need absolute silence, it probably isn't for you. The apartment is on the 5th floor (top floor), which makes for nice sunset views, and when opening the large double windows it gives it a bit of a loggia feel, although there is no balcony. There is an elevator in the building. The rent is CHF 1850 gross, the only additional cost is for internet, and water and electricity, which was usually around CHF 50 per quarter.
The apartment has a kitchen with all appliances, a modern stove and oven, fridge, dishwasher, as well as its own washer-tumbler machine in the apartment, which is very convenient. The bathroom comes with a bathtub. There is a basement compartment, and the building has a basement room for bicycle storage. Pets are allowed given the building administration's approval. The move-in date would be June 1st, but could potentially be earlier, May 16th, if needed. I am looking to leave all my furniture and will give preference to those who are willing to take it over for CHF 1750.
