The room is simply great... 16sqm old building with balcony, real wood parquet (throughout the apartment), elegant wall paneling, and a wardrobe.

About the apartment: The 3.5-room apartment has a total of around 82sqm with two balconies (also suitable for grilling). In addition to the fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher), with balcony access, the apartment has 3 bright rooms, which can be accessed separately via a wide hallway, as well as a bathroom with bathtub and WC.
Washing machine and dryer are available in the basement of the house. There is sufficient additional storage space for bicycles, skis, wine, etc., provided by a cellar compartment and a bay window.

About the location: The apartment is centrally located, conveniently accessible but still quiet, just around the corner from Josefswiese. Tram lines 4, 13, and 17 are within a 5-minute walk, and the Hardbrücke S-Bahn station as well as bus lines 72 and 31 can be reached in less than 10 minutes on foot.
Within a 10-minute walk, in addition to numerous restaurants and shops, you will find the Schiffbau theater, the Abaton (cinema), the Viadukt, the running track along the Limmat, the Oberer Letten footbath, and Langstrasse – but you probably already know all that ;-)

I am looking for a nice, open-minded person, ideally between 26-40 years old and experienced in shared living. Smoking is not allowed in the apartment ;-)

Now about myself. I am 38, originally from Berlin, but have spent the last few years traveling a lot in Austria and France, and have now been in Zurich for about 8 years, where I currently work in finance.
My interests range from traveling, photography, and architecture to various sports such as skiing, hiking, ski & high tours, and playing football.
On weekends (and if it happens during the week), I like to sit together in the evenings with a glass of wine or beer or eat together. In the summer, I plan to use the balcony for communal grilling. Since I like to keep things tidy but also enjoy my free time, a cleaning lady comes regularly.
The room is available from 01.06.2025 (un)furnished and for a limited/unlimited period. If you are interested, I look forward to a personal meeting to show you the shared apartment.
