The Room:
We are renting out a cozy, partially furnished room in our 5-person shared house, located in a beautiful but simply equipped old wooden chalet in Oetwil am See.
The room is equipped with:

• Bed (1.50 m)
• Chest of drawers / Small clothes rack
• Carpet
• Bedside table
• Lamps
• Curtains
• Armchair

The room is available from September, the 1st to December, the 15th for subletting.

The Houseshare:
Our houseshare is diverse and consists of working professionals aged from early 30s to early 40s. Our living environment is relaxed and respectful.
Facilities and Common Areas:
All common areas are located on the ground floor and basement, including:

• Dining/Workroom: Equipped with tables, chairs, and curtains
• Kitchen: Fully equipped with a small dishwasher, stove, oven, and fridge. There is a large freezer in the basement.
• Living room: Spacious living room with armchairs, sofa, and a TV with cable connection.
• Laundry room: Washing machine, dryer, ironing board, iron, and drying rack.
• Terrace: Table, chairs, sun umbrellas, and a small grill for shared use.
• Internet: We have a fast and stable internet connection, ideal for work or streaming.
• Cloakroom (Ground Floor): Includes space for shoes, a clothes rack for jackets and coats, and a small shelf used as a mail station.
• Basement: Space available for storing bicycles.

Sanitary facilities:

• Bathroom and 1 WC on the 1st floor
• Additional WC on the ground floor

Important Notes:

• The house has a simple standard of furnishings.
• Smoking is not allowed inside the house.
• Pets are not allowed.
• There are many walking and hiking trails starting right at the doorstep, making it a peaceful and relaxing place to live.
• Public, free parking spaces are available on our street if needed.

Oetwil am See offers good bus connections to:

• Männedorf (10 minutes)
• Stäfa (15 minutes)
• Wetzikon and Uster

From there, the S7 train line provides quick access to the city of Zurich or Rapperswil. The total travel time from Oetwil am See to Zurich City or Rapperswil is approximately 50 to 60 minutes.
Shops such as Denner and Volg are available in the village. Additionally, there are various leisure activities, including a public swimming pool, basketball, table tennis, football, and tennis clubs.
