Single room for rent - 8610 Uster

In the lovely Flora WG in Uster, a double room will become available temporarily starting June 1, 2025, for a maximum of 2–3 months (June, July, optionally including August). The two rooms have beautiful wooden floors and are connected by an internal door. One room (15.6 m2) faces the quiet inner courtyard, while the larger one (17.6 m2) faces the street. We are happy to rent the two rooms to a single person or a couple. One of the rooms could also be used as a studio or office. The total rent for both rooms is 1173 Swiss Francs per month (including utilities). On the same floor, you'll be sharing a toilet and a bathroom (separate) with one other person.
The rooms can be rented either furnished (basic) or unfurnished. A garage can also be rented for an additional 120 CHF.
The three-story house includes a large garden full of roses, a courtyard with a fountain, and a barn with a bike garage, pottery studio, and workshop. Shared spaces also include: kitchen, living room, guest room, attic, basement, laundry room, garden, and courtyard. The spacious house has new windows and a ground-source heat pump. It's about a 7-minute walk to Uster train station, from where trains leave for Zurich every 15 minutes (11-minute ride).
We are Andreina, Veronica, Mario, Nicola, Sarina, all around 30 years old, and we live here with Miro, our WG cat. We have a wide range of hobbies: kite surfing, biking, pottery, making music, camping, cooking, hiking, baking sourdough bread, salsa dancing, and more...
Sometimes we cook together, play games, or enjoy a glass of wine. Other times, we cook individually and spend time on our own, there are no fixed rules. We really enjoy those spontaneous moments in the kitchen or garden during the week. Overall, we all appreciate a good balance between shared time and personal space.
