Single room for rent - 8610 Uster, Poststrasse 6

Looking for a new roommate starting 01.08.2025, as my current roommate is moving out.

Your Room
The room is on the second floor of the apartment and has a small private balcony/terrace. It is about the same size as the living area (see picture) approximately 30m2. The location of the room is quiet and bright due to the two windows.

The Apartment
The apartment is a 4 1/2 room apartment with its own roof terrace and a balcony. It is centrally located and directly at Uster train station. It is a maisonette apartment, which separates the living and sleeping areas by a floor. The apartment includes an underground parking space and a large cellar compartment that can be shared.
The apartment is furnished and has everything you need to live. You would need to furnish your room yourself. A communal laundry room is located in the basement, which you share with 4 other tenants, where consideration is given to each other and there are no fixed washing days.
On the roof terrace, there is a lounge, a hammock, and a sun umbrella, which you are welcome to use.

The Location
The apartment is (almost) directly at Uster train station and is very quiet despite its central location. You have a train every 15 minutes directly to Stadelhofen or Zurich HB and you are there in 11 or 15 minutes. There are many shopping options and also some restaurants in the area. A small Coop about 3 minutes away is open 365 days a year until 10:00 PM.

About Me
My name is Reto, I am 28 years old and work in ophthalmology. Besides my work, I enjoy riding motorcycles and cooking a lot. Otherwise, I am a rather quiet person who does not need much action after a workday. If you want to pursue your hobby, you are welcome to contribute to the design. Since I do not want to move in with my current partner yet, I plan to stay in a shared apartment for a few more years.

About You
You should be around 25 to 40 years old (gender is irrelevant), have a regular income, and plan to live in a shared apartment for a few more years. You should have a certain sense of order and cleanliness and not throw a house party every weekend.

Costs
The costs are approximately 1,450 CHF per month including additional costs and parking. Depending on the additional cost bill, there may be an additional payment, but this is manageable. We can discuss electricity/internet & TV and waste fees.
