We (M23 & M25) are looking for 2-3 more roommates who would like to move in with us into a unique house in a quiet location with a beautiful view. The property is located in Ettenhausen (near Wetzikon) and offers plenty of space for creative projects. The house was partially renovated about 4 years ago to make the rooms brighter and more modern. There are still two rooms (North-East & Middle-West, see plan) available which can be occupied from September 1st. Additionally, there is the option to rent the two smaller rooms on the top floor (see floor plan). The house is very spacious and includes a coworking space and a small gym in the attic. The rooms are unfurnished and can be designed as desired. We share the kitchen, bathrooms, and other rooms. The kitchen has everything your heart desires, even a dishwasher. The entire apartment has Wi-Fi, which is organized by us tenants. There is a room with a washing machine and a workbench for crafting. The basement offers plenty of space for wine and has enough storage for other items. A small garage and a new shed for garden tools also exist.
The house is located in a rural area near Wetzikon, but the nearest bus stop is only a 3-minute walk away, and Wetzikon train station can be reached by bike in about 12 minutes. The university locations can be reached by public transport (bike to Wetzikon/Kempten station) in the following times (door to door):

Since a WG already lives in the house, the neighbors are used to young people, and the house will be thoroughly cleaned by the previous WG before moving in September. Since an electric heating system is installed, the additional costs are approximately 230.- depending on the temperatures in winter. One room costs 580.- per month (including additional costs), although it should be noted that this value may change slightly depending on the interest rate. Some flexibility is therefore required. The landlords' goal is that every year a part of the rent is reinvested by the landlords to continuously improve the quality of living. Important: The following costs are not included in the rent and are borne by the subtenants at a rate of 33% or 25% (depending on occupancy):

About us:
We are 2 students, Calvin & Milan, studying mechanical engineering at ETH. Milan is starting his Master's in Space Systems at ETH in the fall. In his free time, he enjoys sports or working on interesting DIY projects. He also likes to help others with their projects.
Calvin is finishing his Bachelor's degree in the summer and will then do an internship. He is also passionate about sports, enjoys working with older vehicles, and likes challenging projects. You can have a cozy beer with him after a day of work, and occasionally you can find him kayaking at the lake.

We are looking for a young, uncomplicated, and committed person. We value a nice and considerate interaction with each other and respect each other's privacy and political opinions. The rental relationship is relaxed, but various tasks are taken on by us tenants ourselves. Occasionally, there are garden tasks to be done, or something may need to be repaired. We do that ourselves and also rely on your help. Ideally, you also enjoy being outside for a few hours and getting your hands dirty. In general, you can also let your creativity run free. There are many opportunities for self-realization available, and there is little that you are not allowed to do.
