Hi! My name is Jess (28) and from July 1st I am looking for a lovely person who wants to create a cozy home with me (and my two cats). Not a purpose-shared room, but a place where we both feel comfortable.
I work in the IT/consulting field and am self-employed as a photo and videographer, mainly in the music industry. Therefore, I am often on the go and appreciate my home as a place of peace even more. In quieter times, I like to try new things or pick up old hobbies again, whether it's crocheting, reading, fitness, or hiking.
The room
- About 11 m², unfurnished (furniture takeover possible)
- Additional space in the living/dining room possible (e.g., for an office)
- Built-in wardrobe in the hallway for shared use
The apartment
- 4-room apartment on the 1st floor (without elevator), a total of about 93 m²
- Basically furnished, but I am open to changes
- 2 large living rooms, one with a balcony
- Bright bathroom with bathtub and separate toilet
- Own washing machine and dryer in the laundry room
- Own dishwasher
- Own garden with raised bed
Location
- 1 minute to the forest with Vitaparcours
- 2 minutes to the nearest bus stops
- 10 minutes on foot to Baden train station and Coop, Migros, Alnatura, Lidl, Aldi, etc.
- 16 minutes by fast train to Zurich HB
Costs
- Monthly rent from July 1st: approx. CHF 1,180 (including additional costs of CHF 225)
- Not included: Internet, Serafe, electricity, possibly streaming subscriptions, household liability insurance
- Total deposit: CHF 3,900 - your share: CHF 1,950
The cats
My two cats Ophelia and Omero are an important part of the shared apartment - cuddly, social, often talkative, and at least Omero likes to be everywhere. Currently, I am trying to walk them on a leash again. If you like animals, you will love them.
Living together
You appreciate a quiet, tidy home with a good mix of exchange, joint activities, and retreat. You are a non-smoker, ideally vegetarian/vegan (I generally eat vegan) and bring the desire to help create a comfortable home together. Age and gender do not matter - what matters is that it fits humanly. English speakers and LGBTQ+ welcome!
If you feel addressed, feel free to write me a few lines about yourself. I look forward to hearing from you!
