Single room for rent - 3014 Bern

Hi!

I'm looking for someone to sublet my fully furnished room in a lovely shared flat in Breitenrain, as I'll be away from Bern for nine months. The room is available from early July 2025 to end of March 2026 (exact dates are flexible) and the rent is CHF 887.50/month (charges not included).

The room comes with a big and comfy Japanese bed (great for your back!), a desk, an armchair, and several storage units (wardrobe, drawers, and a bookshelf). The flat has three rooms in total and you'll be sharing it with my wonderful flatmate Pearl. There's a cozy shared living room (with a sofa, dining table, and beamer for movie nights), a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a bathtub, and a sunny balcony which is perfect for summer hangs. There's also bike storage and a laundry room in the basement.

The flat is on a quiet street in lively Breitenrain, just 5 minutes away from tram line 9 and bus line 20 (you can get to the main train station in about 15 minutes). You'll find everything you need nearby: Migros, Coop, Alnatura, and even Gelateria di Berna :)

You'll be living with Pearl (27), who is doing her PhD in Social Anthropology at the University of Bern. She's lived in India, the US and Paris, and loves museums, movies, reading, and cooking – and is truly lovely to live with!

We're both looking for someone clean, respectful, and easy-going – someone who's happy to share responsibilities around the flat and enjoys a friendly, relaxed living environment.
