About me:
Hi! I'm 35 years old and work as a project manager for digitalization and a product owner at FHNW. I'm often on the go, love nature, and am currently training for a long-distance hike in New Zealand.
Living with me is Baldur – my five-year-old cat and the true master of the house: cuddly, sweet, talkative, and an excellent watchdog with a strong personality.
The apartment:
The flat is super central, just a 2-minute walk from Olten train station – perfect for commuters! FHNW and a large Migros are about 10 minutes away on foot.
It's a spacious two-floor, approx. 140 m² maisonette apartment full of charm. Highlights include a fireplace in the living room, a large balcony, a cosy garden seating area, and a modern kitchen with a gas stove and dishwasher.
A parking space is available, but with the train station so close, you might not need it.
The house has only two households – us and the landlady who lives in the attic apartment. It's a very warm, familiar living environment where you'll often cross paths and know your neighbours.
The room:
The available room is about 15 m² with beautiful herringbone parquet flooring. It's unfurnished, but a bed and shelf can be provided if needed.
If you'd like more space, an additional room can be rented.
What I'm looking for:
I'm looking for a flatmate who values conscious, sustainable living and appreciates (or at least likes) cats – especially Baldur.
Age and gender don't matter. Ideally, you live independently but enjoy the occasional coffee or shared meal. I value a relaxed, respectful coexistence with space for both connection and privacy.
Move-in date: from August 1st (earlier move-in possible by arrangement)
Rent: CHF 990.– + CHF 150.– utilities
If this sounds like a good fit, send me a message and tell me a bit about yourself. Baldur and I look forward to hearing from you!
